At SureSafe, we understand that trust is built on both the performance of our personal alarm products and the support we offer after your purchase. That’s why we provide clear warranty terms to give you peace of mind when choosing SureSafe for yourself or a loved one.

Warranty Overview

All SureSafe products are covered by a limited warranty, offering protection against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a defined period. The length of coverage varies by product type:

6-Month Warranty Coverage

This applies to a range of lifestyle and wearable accessories, including:

  • Silicone wristbands

12-Month Warranty Coverage

This applies to all other SureSafe branded devices and accessories, including:

  • Personal alarm units
  • Base stations
  • Charging docks
  • Fall detection and GPS-enabled units

How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you experience a fault or believe your SureSafe product may be defective within the warranty period, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out with a description of the issue, including your order details and photos if applicable.
  2. Assessment: Our team will assess the claim and may request the item be returned for inspection.
  3. Resolution: If the claim is approved:
    • We’ll arrange a replacement at no extra cost.
    • For claims within 14 days of delivery, you may request a refund, exchange, or store credit.
    • If the issue is not covered, a nominal fee for assessment and return postage may apply.

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

Certain situations fall outside our warranty protection, such as:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, or neglect
  • General wear and tear from regular use
  • Unauthorized alterations or repairs
  • Returns sent without prior claim approval or at the customer’s expense

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our warranty operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to statutory consumer guarantees, which include:

“Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.”

In accordance with ACL, where required, SureSafe will:

  • Repair or replace the item
  • Offer a refund
  • Re-supply the service or compensate where applicable
